Description: This work was installed directly onto a disused wall in the city. I was working with the colour ‘hot pink’ as the city seemed to be filled with advertising of all sorts using this colour but used here as a block colour to get the public’s attention away from their daily routines. I was interested in how we experience a painting and if it'd be possible to still function as 'high art' if taken out of the white cube gallery context.
